And this is why... I will never, ever agree to meet my biological parents. Sure I'm curious, but I'm happy with the world being flat at the moment and really not interested in finding out about what they've been up to for the past 30 years and if I have any true siblings out there.

Broad, I've read enough on the connection between adoption and ADD/ADHD and such and I'm pretty sure that whatever impulse drove her to look you up was probably pretty close to the impulse that got her naked and knocked up in the first place. It's honestly probably not you, it's just that she found you, and then the impulse was gone.

The problem here is that unlike so many years ago, she can't close this pandora's box as easily. It's not like she can just give you away again. Bonds have formed between you and her family and she'll never be able to completely remove you from her life again. Perhaps that threatens her peace of mind.

Just chalk it up to the fact that she's either moved on to the next impulse or she's jealous of who you are and the life you've had and acts out by cutting you down. Based on what you've told me of her other offspring, you're the golden child of the bunch.
