Well, the NYT is furious, because it's sticking to its guns and protecting Judith, and one of the newspaper guilds is proposing that all newsrooms observe a 2-minute period of silence at noon July 6. Otherwise, what can we do? I mean, until corporate newsrooms get their minds off the bottom line, nothing.
